Going to.... AFRICA

Ok so... many, many, many people have gotten onto me for not updating my veggie blog. SO. SORRY. However, we're back (and still very vegetarian:) ). The newest thing in the life of D and T is that we are going to Africa for six weeks this summer. I am going to be able to work in the clinic/hospital and Dustin will be teaching French in the schools there. We are going to Village of Hope in Ghana. It's a super cool place that helps kids get off of the street, into school, and set up for a better life.

We leave June 22 and return July 31. Scary right?! ahhhh. This is SO GREAT for us to be able and do the first year we are married. Both of us know this is a truly special opportunity

In light of our trip, many people have asked how they can help. So, here you go....

1. PRAY. This is a huge thing for us to do right now. And we know that God has ordained this time for us, and he has already prepared the way. yay!!

We know that going to Africa is not something everyone is able to do. We are just so thankful that we get to do this, and we can carry the name of Christ and other Christians all over the world.

In other news, Dustin had surgery last month to repair a hernia he got from being a hardcore awesome judo player. He is almost back to himself and is experiencing a full recovery thanks to the grace of God.   To be honest with you, this was an unexpected expense that cut into our Africa fund. But look at how cute we are :) It was worth it!

Can't wait to go to Africa!
